The Magpie Mason announced a new Affinity Lodge in England, discussed Masonic artifacts found under a statute of well-known traitor in Virginia and explored the deeper history of the statue. They mourned the passing of Bro. Thomas W. Jackson, Past Grand Secretary of Pennsylvania, reported on the "Scottish tradition" of linking arms at New Years and the suspected arson at the Grand Lodge of Ireland. On a lighter note they spoke about Masonic stamp collectors. They further invited any interested Brother to attend the banquet of the Masonic Society and the next meeting of the Masonic Restoration Foundation. Finally, and of particular interest to the Brethren of Fellowship Lodge, they highlighted an exhibition of Paul Revere jewels in Worcester.


Freemasonry for Dummies also reported on the passing of Bro. Jackson and the fire at the Grand Lodge of Ireland.


The Midnight Freemasons presented the fourth article in their Whither Are We Traveling series, revisited their 24 Inch Guage, examined the Practical Psychology of the Circumspect, and spoke on Bro. Jackson's death.


The Scottish Rite NMJ Blog released their ultimate guide to Masonic symbolism.


The Traveling Templar recounted their Masonic year.
